beauty blender packaging
This project was made around the same time as the nail files, but you can start to see my transition from being bold just for the sake of having bright colors to being more conscious of a color palette and not feeling the need to go overboard with colors depending on what the product is. While there are some beauty blenders out there that could have full color patterns, they’re very few and far between. In a four-pack of beauty blenders, I stuck with a simplistic palette to accentuate the two colors of the beauty blenders.
I designed two versions because after designing the first iteration (the green and yellow), I thought about the people that would be using the product and realized that one of the frustrating things about beauty blenders is they can get stained with product, even when you’re washing them. In the second version you can see I stuck to the same simple two-tone color palette, but depending on your skin tone, one could be used for contouring or foundation and another could be used for powder, concealer, or foundation.
